We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children's Services team. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for working with children and families to provide support and guidance to ensure their well-being and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and manage a caseload of children and families, providing support and guidance to ensure their well-being and safety.
- Work with connected carers and children placed in connected carers arrangements, providing support as appropriate.
- Assess, plan, and implement safeguarding measures to ensure all children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
- Complete assessments related to connected carers, including Special Guardianship, Viability, and Connected Carers assessments.
- Attend Court, Fostering Panel, and other forums as appropriate to present assessments.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience working with children and families in a social care setting.
- Strong assessment and planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
