Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned ERP Consultant/Business Analyst with strong business acumen in the Human Capital Management (HCM) domain. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, excellent English proficiency, and a proven track record of excelling in a consultant role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs to identify solutions and improvements.
  3. Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.
  4. Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and current systems.
  6. Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and timely issue resolution.
  7. Participate in design and architecture discussions, offering insights to ensure alignment with business goals.
  8. Foster effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.
  9. Perform quality assurance testing to validate that the software meets specified requirements and functions as intended.
  10. Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
  11. Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams.
  12. Analyze user feedback and system performance data to recommend continuous improvements.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure software solutions align with current standards.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert for business processes, systems, and software functionality.
  15. Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new software features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or comparable field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an HCM Functional Business Analyst or HCM ERP Consultant.
  • Minimum 3 years in client-facing roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with project management software tools.
  • 50% availability for travel, including across Europe.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom and across the European Union.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ERP implementation.
  • Experience with IFS HCM.
  • Experience working in HR/HRIM in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing; Energy & Utilities; Service Sector; Construction & Engineering; Shipping & Harbour Services; Aviation & Defense.
  • Proficiency in Dutch.
