Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Job Description: As an Infant Aquatic Educator at Kentish Town Sports Centre, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality swimming lessons to babies and pre-school children. You will follow our product SWIMBiES plan and use your singing skills to engage with students. Your role will involve communicating effectively with customers, creating a welcoming and safe environment, and being the face of our baby lesson programme.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must hold one of the following qualifications:

  • STA Level 2 Award in Baby & Pre School Swimming Teacher
  • Swim England Level 2 Teaching Pre-School Swimming
  • STA Level 3 Diploma in Baby & Pre School Swimming Teacher

If you do not hold the above qualification but have a passion for delivering Baby & Pre School swimming lessons, we can work with you to develop your delivery experience. You must complete the STA Level 2 Award in Baby and Pre School within 6 months of taking on regular lessons.

Experience/ Knowledge: As an Infant Aquatic Educator, you will have experience and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Experience working with babies & toddler's
  • Experience working with parents & guardians
  • Understanding of child development in relation to baby swimming lessons
  • Knowledge of songs and games suitable for baby swimming lessons
