Job Title: Head of Quality

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead our quality assurance activities and drive quality and efficiency improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a quality management system that meets regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
  2. Work with the Continuous Improvement Manager to incorporate Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques into QA and QC activities.
  3. Manage the Quality Assurance team, setting objectives that support the delivery of the short and long-term strategy.
  4. Produce and report key quality metrics to ensure targets are delivered and risks are identified and mitigated.
  5. Drive improvements across the organisation to ensure processes are robust and deliver the right results to support key business targets.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to create and deliver a strategic plan for quality assurance.
  2. Depth of experience gained in a significant quality management role.
  3. Previous experience of Part 21G requirements, Safety Management System introduction and AS9100 requirements.
  4. Project Management skills.
  5. Previous experience in leading projects in root cause analysis and implementing corrective action.
