This is an exciting opportunity to join Devon Partnership NHS Trust's Vocational Rehabilitation Service as a part-time Employment Retention Specialist. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health conditions to maintain employment and achieve their full potential.

In this role, you will work closely with individuals, employers, and mental health services to provide vocational assessments and develop effective strategies for maintaining employment. You will also establish and maintain strong relationships with employers and other stakeholders to promote the benefits of employing and supporting individuals with mental health conditions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Providing vocational assessments and developing strategies for maintaining employment.
  • Working closely with individuals, employers, and mental health services to achieve employment outcomes.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with employers and other stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy, Careers Guidance, Human Resources, Vocational Rehabilitation, or related subject.
  • NVQ 4 in Advice and Guidance (desirable).
  • Certificate in Coaching Skills (desirable).
  • Knowledge of case management approach to job retention.
  • Understanding of mental health conditions.
  • Able to demonstrate highly developed verbal communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

  • Estimated salary range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
