Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver a comprehensive youth development program tailored to community needs, adhering to established best practices.
- Provide leadership and support to a team of part-time staff and volunteers within the project.
- Ensure active young people participation in the project, fostering a model of youth empowerment.
- Cultivate strong relationships with the wider community and external organizations.
- Offer guidance and support to young individuals, empowering them to articulate their aspirations and collaborate effectively within groups.
- Address harmful behaviors among young people, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Encourage young individuals to broaden their perspectives and engage as active members of society.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of youth development activities, involving young people in the assessment process and analyzing the impact on their growth.
- Support young individuals in understanding risks and challenges, empowering them to take proactive steps to address key issues in their lives.
- Uphold the Management Committee's Child Protection Policy, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all young people involved.
- Manage administrative tasks within the project, including financial matters, meticulous record keeping, and ensuring compliance with administrative requirements.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of paid staff and volunteers as needed.
