Digital Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Manager to join our team at Highfield and Brookham School. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our digital marketing strategy to drive admissions and raise the profile of our school nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to achieve our marketing and admissions goals.
- Manage our website development, including regular updates to optimize keyword search, on-page optimization, link building, and user experience.
- Design and implement digital paid advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram ads.
- Analyze and report on marketing metrics using Google Analytics, providing insights on website traffic and campaign activity.
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and lead generation to support admissions.
- Monitor and analyze campaign results and trends to improve future performance.
- Create a content calendar for our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn, and assist the team in generating relevant content to engage with our target audiences.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and promote advocacy among our target audiences.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to social media channels, cultivating leads and enhancing our reputation.
- Provide insights into the behavior and perceptions of our target audiences based on their usage and visits to our website and other digital touchpoints.
- Monitor competitor social activity and websites, conducting research and competitor analysis to ensure our activities are clearly differentiated.
- Contribute to the production and design of our school annual magazine.
- Assist with staffing key marketing events throughout the year.
- Work to protect our school's brand and visual identity through design, photography, and videography.
- Support the Head of External Activities to increase registrations to our holiday clubs and swim school.
- Work closely with the Admissions Registrar to understand prospective parents' needs and inform our digital marketing strategy.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using AI-powered tools for tasks such as design, copywriting, and analysis.
- Degree in marketing or 2 years' experience in digital marketing.
- Proven expertise in all aspects of digital marketing.
- Strong writing and editorial skills, including creative, SEO, media, and business writing.
- Attention to detail, a concern for accuracy, and a proficient proofreader.
- Good knowledge of Google Analytics and ability to analyze results and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and work simultaneously with different messages and target markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good team player with excellent diplomacy and good humor.
- Results and deadline-driven, able to work under pressure.
- A belief in the independent education sector.
- Design know-how and knowledge of InDesign or Photoshop.
- Video editing skills.
- Aptitude for photography.
- Willingness and flexibility to work the odd evening or weekend.
- Experience of WordPress CMS.
