**Content Creator**

**Salary**: £28,000

**Location**: This role is based at our beautiful Central Support Office in Liphook (hybrid working options available)

Do you have a passion for creating standout content which captures hearts and minds?

Are you looking to use your talents to make a genuine positive difference to primary-school aged children?

Direct experience of working within the education sector is useful, though not essential. What is most important is that you can understand the perspective of schools (head teacher or music lead), parents and staff and can create compelling content to engage all these audiences meaningfully.

**Role**
- Lead on the creation of effective digital content, printed materials, photographs and videos, sound bites and adverts
- Ensure our content reflects our brand, is accessible, readable, SEO optimised (where applicable) and stands out against our competitors with a distinctive and consistent look and feel
- Capture compelling photographs and video content which bring case studies to life, shows life at Rocksteady and promotes our education offer
- Edit video content and photography, ensuring the finished products are engaging and in line with our brand guidelines
- Research and write compelling case studies which engage our audiences
- Maintain relationships with any agencies or producers we use (including graphic designers, print agencies, photographers and videographers) - briefing them where required and ensuring work they produce meets the brief, on time, on brand and on budget, using strong project management skills
- Proof-reading and editing content, ensuring it is mistake-free, on brand and impactful
- Complete regular stock takes of printed materials, ensuring adequate supplies are available.

**Attributes**
- Experience of writing compelling and engaging copy of different lengths, for different audiences
- Experience overseeing video/audio/photography production working with photographers and videographers
- Digital marketing prowess and good understanding of the principles of developing engaging multichannel content and advertising for a range of audiences
- Demonstrable experience of creating campaigns or concepts which bring an idea to life and meet a specific target i.e. leads to sales team
- Creative thinker adept at dreaming up fresh, innovative and engaging campaigns with the ability to put yourself in the shoes of others, so the creative captures the attention of the intended audience and encourages action
- Highly organised, able to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Ability to build trust and confidence with colleagues across the organisation
- Knowledge of Photoshop/InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud to create user-centred design
- Good photography and videography skills
