Randstad Delivery (GBS) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Hospital Porter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transportation of patients, medical equipment, and supplies within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation: Safely transport patients, medical gas cylinders, equipment, furniture, pharmaceutical and pathology items, as well as linen, mail, refuse, and other items as requested.
  • Documentation: Accurately document and transport goods and records to relevant departments.
  • Reporting: Report any safety hazards, accidents, loss, and theft to relevant managers.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with management and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Cleaning: Clean areas after use to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety policies when maneuvering, particularly when lifting.
  • Hygiene: Maintain good personal and company hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads.
