We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Chef to join our team at Llwyn Teg, a highly valued provider of care. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for our service users by providing high-quality, fresh, and home-cooked food.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, cook, and serve meals for residents and others as required, in a timely manner.
- Provide a varied diet, catering for the cultural preferences of those who use our services.
- Cater for celebrations and other events in our Home.
- Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
- Maintain accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP.
- Participate in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and Local Authorities.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene within the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Welfare.
- Ability to manage the Catering Team.
