Home Support Position in Broadbay Area

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Home Support Worker in the Broadbay Area.

This is a permanent position, with two posts available:

  • Post 3926: 20 hours per week, £15,653 - £17,176 per annum, inclusive of DIA (£1,482)
  • Post 2345: 10 hours per week, £7,826 - £8,588 per annum, inclusive of DIA (£741)

The successful candidate will support an adult with support needs within their home, promoting independence and dignity. The role requires flexibility, integrity, and a caring manner.

Full training will be provided, with regular supervision and opportunities for additional hours within Adult Services. The post involves working varying shifts, including night enhancements for hours worked between pm and am.

Please note that recruitment to this post is permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, where the person's sex is a Genuine Occupational Qualification (GOQ) for the duties required.

This role requires wearing and using PPE, and appointment will be subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.

The salary for this post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance, with annual incremental progression. Please see the attached 'Job Description & Person Specification' for further information.
