SEND Assessment Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated individual to play a crucial role in supporting the success of students with special educational needs and disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring students receive targeted support and access arrangements, empowering them to reach their full potential.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to coordinate and manage the implementation of Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) for students with SEND, ensuring compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and assessment protocols.
  • You will monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and provide guidance to staff on SEND policies and best practices.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support students' needs effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A JQC Level 7 approved qualification in Access Arrangements is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience as an EAA Coordinator or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with JCQ regulations and assessment tools is required.
  • A strong understanding of SEND policies and procedures is also essential.
Compensation Package:

In line with industry standards, the salary for this position ranges from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
