Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary healthcare services to students, including first aid, assessments, and treatments for illnesses and injuries.
  • Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records.
  • Educate parents on breastfeeding, bottle feeding, childcare, parenting, immunization, weaning, and child development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individual healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions.
  • Conduct health screenings, immunization programs, and health education sessions for students.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, including physical activity and nutrition, to prevent health issues such as obesity.
  • Assess and manage contagious diseases within the school community.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical care.


Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must be a registered nurse with a valid license. Experience in pediatric or community health nursing is preferred, along with a compassionate and empathetic nature. Strong knowledge of child development, common health issues in school-aged children, and relevant healthcare practices are essential. The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per annum.
