Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Support Specialist to join our team at NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board. As a key member of the Finance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial information to inform decision-making.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will provide analytical and clerical support to the wider Finance Team. Your duties will include providing effective analytical and clerical support to the Finance Team, monitoring activity, communication to budget holders and management of workflows, reconciling control accounts, cash control and agreement of balances, and working closely with ICB staff, member practices, service providers, patient representative groups and other partner organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a small Finance team with a hybrid approach to working. You will be required to maintain awareness and understanding of the other areas covered by the department and focus on these areas as required.

Salary:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
