Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Siamo Recruitment. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient coordination of warehouse stock and delivering exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accurately check and put away supplier delivered parts
  • Pick and load vans efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Inspect customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
  • Verify stock quantities against computer records and ensure stock is stored in allocated bin locations
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, labeling boxes and standing for long periods at packing stations
  • Support other areas within the warehouse, including housekeeping
  • Meet customer service requirements by completing work to a high standard

About You:
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry is desirable
