Warehouse Operative Job Opportunity

Optime Group is excited to be recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join their team in partnership with Avanti Trains. This role offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a stable and rewarding work environment.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our train clients on time, in-line with various scheduling requirements. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be essential in maintaining a smooth and organized warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning all areas of the Avanti warehouse, including toilets, to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Hoovering, mopping, and dusting high and low-level areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Documenting routine inspections to track and monitor the warehouse's condition.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Completing tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
  • Using various cleaning equipment in line with training to ensure effective and efficient cleaning practices.
  • Adhering to airport security processes to maintain a secure and compliant working environment.

Requirements:

  • A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • The ability to use a computer, basic Excel, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Able to demonstrate Optime Group's core values and principles.
  • Basic numeracy skills to accurately record and track inventory and other data.
  • Basic checking skills to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.

What's on offer:

  • A competitive rate of pay: £12.00 per hour.
  • A location in WV10 6JQ.
  • A shift pattern of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with 22.5 hours per week.
  • Hours of work: 06:00am to 13:30pm.
