We are seeking a skilled Product Launch and Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of investment vehicle product launches and material product changes through effective planning, organization, communication, implementation, and management of corresponding project teams.

About the Role

This is a key role on the Global Product Strategy & Development (GPSD) team where you will partner with GPSD leaders to lead, develop, and oversee delivery of a portfolio of product development and launch initiatives aligned to strategic business plans.

You will lead efforts to develop and analyze options to solve strategic business problems as it relates to product launches and product changes including product management and implementation of regulatory obligations, and partner with stakeholders to recommend appropriate approaches for solving business challenges and ensuring alignment with global product priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of investment vehicle product launches and material product changes through effective planning, organization, communication, implementation, and management of corresponding project teams.
  • Partner with GPSD leaders to lead, develop, and oversee delivery of a portfolio of product development and launch initiatives aligned to strategic business plans.
  • Develop and analyze options to solve strategic business problems as it relates to product launches and product changes including product management and implementation of regulatory obligations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to recommend appropriate approaches for solving business challenges and ensuring alignment with global product priorities.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in detailed end-to-end product launch processes and requirements and understand the impacts to various enterprise teams.
  • Continuously look for ways to scale product launch capabilities, identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, and contribute to the development of GPSD's launch and delivery center of excellence.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of seven years of project management experience with a track record of successful execution of assigned projects to deliver business outcomes based on key drivers (i.e., time, budget, resources, scope).
  • Experience working in the asset management industry (e.g., mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, collective investment trusts, private funds) and/or familiarity with a wide variety of investment products and vehicles including UCITS Funds.
  • Experience working with product development, product planning, and/or product launch leading successful business or technology enterprise projects from initiation through deployment.
  • Skilled communication and facilitation skills with the ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders including executive-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally to solve complex problems and influence others to add value with a focus on understanding and managing the impact of change.
  • Previous success with strategic and/or operational project delivery experience (business strategy, technology systems, vendor management), and ability to apply and lead flexible delivery models to execute the work.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to explore diverse perspectives and dissenting viewpoints when developing and executing a plan.
  • Thrives on challenges and enjoys partnering with others to achieve meaningful results.

What We Offer

CAPITAL GROUP OFFERS AN ESTIMATED SALARY OF $160,000 TO $220,000 BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND LOCATION. WE ALSO OFFER A COMPETITIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE INCLUDING HEALTH INSURANCE, RETIREMENT PLAN, AND TIME OFF.
