Fire Safety Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Safety Consultant to join our team at Ark Workplace Risk. As a Senior Fire Safety and Strategy Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering fire safety solutions to our clients across the built environment.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake complex fire risk assessments and develop fire strategies for high-rise residential and commercial buildings.
- Review and create building safety management systems to ensure compliance with UK building regulations.
- Design fire management plans for existing buildings and implement fire safety advice and site management systems.
- Develop corporate fire safety management systems across client portfolios and act as an internal source of expertise for the consultants.
- Support clients with contentious matters including fire brigade interventions and monitor external wall/facade remedial work.
- 8+ years of experience working as a Fire Safety Consultant in the built environment.
- Extensive experience in undertaking fire specialist work, including fire strategies, fire management plans, and complex fire risk assessments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent report writing abilities to deliver client reports in accordance with a forensic and pragmatic approach.
- Comprehensive understanding of current UK building regulations, including Approved Document B.
- Working knowledge of relevant Approved Documents and relevant Standards, including BS9991, BS9999, BS9997, and PAS 9980.
- A competitive salary from £67,000 to £72,000 per annum, depending on location, skills, experience, and track record.
