Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Youth Support Workers

We are seeking experienced youth support workers to join our team and provide care and support to young people in a residential setting. As a youth support worker, you will play a vital role in helping young people develop their life skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a team to create a supportive environment for young people.
  • Handle challenging situations in a calm and measured manner.
  • Use your personality to bring smiles to those within the service.
  • Provide emotional support as and when required.
  • Take an active role in the hobbies and pastimes of the residents to keep them engaged.
  • Work up to 3 shifts per week with shift times between 08:30 and 22:00.
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in residential childcare.
  • A minimum of 3 months of referenceable experience working in a residential childcare setting.
  • Valid mandatory training documents relevant to the support of young people/children.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 3 months or registered on the update service with checks against the DBS Children's Barred List information.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.00-£12.50, dependent on the hours worked. We also have the facility to assist with mandatory training and DBS checks if needed.
