Hourly Rate: £15.26

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Youth Support Worker to join our team in Mansfield, Ashfield, North Nottinghamshire. As a Youth Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable young people in the community, helping them to gain independence and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of younger residents in shared services, aged 16 upwards, and provide support to help them gain independence.
  • Support young people throughout the tenancy and offer guidance and advice.
  • Signpost to further youth projects and services to help young people access the support they need.
  • Sourcing youth activities and funding to provide opportunities for young people to engage in positive activities.
  • Collect service charges and take enforcement action on tenancy breaches, as necessary.
  • Help residents to secure further accommodation and gain basic life skills.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel around the district.
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Experience in supporting young people, preferably in a housing or youth work setting.
