Job Title: Youth Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at Sellick Partnership. As a Youth Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to vulnerable young people in the community.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of younger residents in shared services who are trying to gain independence. This will involve providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and develop the skills they need to live independently.

You will also be responsible for signposting young people to further youth projects, sourcing youth activities and funding, and collecting service charges. Additionally, you will help residents to secure further accommodation and gain basic life skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of younger residents in shared services who are trying to gain independence
  • Provide support and guidance to help young people achieve their goals and develop the skills they need to live independently
  • Signpost young people to further youth projects
  • Sourcing youth activities and funding
  • Collecting service charges
  • Helping residents to secure further accommodation and gain basic life skills
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Ability to travel around the district
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience in supporting young people
