About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Analyst to join our team at Lowell Financial Ltd. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in enabling projects, delivering high-quality business analysis, and providing finance portfolio and change support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand the requirements and challenges of finance transformation projects within the insurance sector.
  • Collect, understand, challenge, and translate business requirements for projects, and create appropriate functional and non-functional specifications, updating traceability matrices as required.
  • Provide the link between internal customers, development teams, and third-party stakeholders regarding software functionality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure all change activity within Group Finance meets agreed governance requirements and controls in line with Lowell's PMO requirements, including the use of standards and templates such as Business Readiness toolsets.
  • Support the Finance Project Manager to define and prioritize the Finance change agenda.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define portfolio and project objectives, and manage expectations.
  • Actively seek feedback on and seek to improve the Change Delivery project framework in liaison with the Programme Office Manager.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst working on Financial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Systems processes is essential.
  • Demonstrable evidence of analyzing and documenting complex business processes and systems.
  • Proven experience of project delivery across Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, DevOps) and Microsoft packages.
