The Senior Manager role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join our team in Europe. Reporting to the Senior Director, Accounting, you'll be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of three, as well as acting as the point of contact for Europe accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounting function for the European Tapestry business, including review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial close process management
  • Partner with the Business Development team to review new store openings/closures and monthly changes to leases
  • Support ongoing statutory audits and manage auditor requests
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with FP&A, Legal, and Global Accounting teams
  • Support the wider Finance Control team with ongoing projects and initiatives

About You:

  • A minimum of 5 years+ accounting experience at a multinational public company
  • Previous experience in retail or multi-site business is preferred
  • Qualified Accountant, ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Experience in Excel & SAP, Tririga & Blackline is a plus
  • Strong technical accounting skills, experience with US GAAP is preferred
  • Experience with lease accounting (either in industry or practice)
  • A self-starter with a high level of motivation and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, highly organized, and flexible to changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • European language skills are a plus
