Special Education Support Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism in a specialist school near Burnley.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who have Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and be able to provide 1-2-1 support and small group work. You will work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement strategies to meet the individual needs of each student.
You will be responsible for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments that allow students to reach their full potential. This may involve developing and implementing behaviour management strategies, supporting students with personal care routines, and communicating effectively with parents and carers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a primary school setting and make a real difference to the lives of our students.
Requirements:- DBS clearance

- Prevent awareness certificate
- Excellent communication skills
