Project Engineering Manager - Energy Projects

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to join our vibrant team in Manchester. As a key member of our Energy Projects team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering design on major projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead multi-discipline engineering teams in the various stages of the project life cycle on major contracts in the Energy Sector.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project coordination and communication.
  4. Ensure compliance with UK technical regulatory standards and global best practices.
  5. Champion Sustainability, Safety, Health, and Environment by promoting a culture of personal safety and wellbeing.

Requirements

  1. HNC or Degree qualified in engineering or equivalent.
  2. 10 years or more experience coordinating multidiscipline teams in the various stages of the project life cycle on major contracts in the Energy Sector.
  3. Knowledge and experience in the energy transition field, including green/blue hydrogen, CCUS, and emissions reduction.
  4. Good knowledge of the major project delivery process from work winning to project handover.
  5. Knowledge and understanding of UK technical regulatory standards and global best practice.
  6. Experience in the requirements for CE marking of plant and equipment.
