Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at TP ICAP. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our complex systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit, understand, and document functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders
  • Work closely with the business, corporate, and technology teams to ensure that requirements are accurately translated into a roadmap with milestones and user stories
  • Analyse, understand, and model existing business processes within the company and recommend improvements to ensure the effectiveness of the processes
  • Collaborate with the development team, product owners, and compliance business users to define business requirements and refine technical requirements with vendors and the QA team
  • Assist with production support work and identify opportunities to consolidate deliveries to address root cause issues across multiple platforms or business products
Requirements:
  • Experience in a business analysis role in the delivery of complex systems
  • Experience of eliciting and capturing requirements, using user stories and use cases, in a software development environment for the delivery of complex systems
  • Enterprise system experience
  • Experience of the full software development lifecycle in a technical role
Desirable Criteria:
  • Relevant Masters or higher degree
  • Experience of delivering platforms and services across multiple teams
  • Experience of multi-year projects from inception to maintenance
  • Experience of regulatory driven projects
  • Experience of compliance and/or trades surveillance business area
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets, Systems and Over the Counter (OTC) products
  • Financial sector experience
  • Experience of using agile tooling to support team delivery
