About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at TP ICAP. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business systems and processes are aligned with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit, understand, and document functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders, including business product owners, corporate teams, and technology teams.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure that requirements are accurately translated into a roadmap with milestones and user stories.
  • Collaborate with the development team, product owners, and compliance business users to define business requirements and refine technical requirements with vendors and the QA team.
  • Assist with production support work and identify opportunities to consolidate deliveries to address root cause issues across multiple platforms or business products.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business product owners, development teams, and technology teams, to ensure that business needs are met and that deliveries are aligned with business priorities.
Requirements
  • Experience in a business analysis role in the delivery of complex systems.
  • Experience of eliciting and capturing requirements, using user stories and use cases, in a software development environment for the delivery of complex systems.
  • Enterprise system experience.
  • Experience of the full software development lifecycle in a technical role.
Desirable Criteria
  • Relevant Masters or higher degree.
  • Experience of delivering platforms and services across multiple teams.
  • Experience of multi-year projects from inception to maintenance.
  • Experience of regulatory driven projects.
  • Experience of compliance and/or trades surveillance business area.
  • Experience of mentoring colleagues and supporting colleague growth and advancement.
  • Experience of transitioning applications and/or products from vendors or remote locations to local teams.
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets, Systems and Over the Counter (OTC) products.
  • Financial sector experience.
  • Experience of using agile tooling to support team delivery.
  • Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with a proactive approach.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills.
  • Experience of working with software vendors.
  • Software package customisation experience.
