About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team at Briggs and Forrester Group. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality bids and tenders that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the production of accurate and competitive prime cost estimates for mechanical services.
  • Develop and implement effective win strategies to differentiate our bids and increase the likelihood of success.
  • Collaborate with the commercial department to review and comment on proposed terms and conditions, warranties, and other contractual documents.
  • Prepare and present tender submission documents and presentation materials to showcase our expertise and capabilities.
  • Manage the formulation, drafting, and editing of tender documents, including mid-bid and post-tender submissions.
  • Organize and chair internal and external meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in building services estimating.
  • Qualified to HND level in Building Services or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Estimation, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Asta PowerProject.
