Graduate Road Network Evaluation Specialist

National Highways is recruiting a Graduate Road Network Evaluation Specialist to join its Customer, Strategy and Communications directorate (CSC). This exciting opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience in delivering impactful evaluation insights that influence critical business decisions.
The role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will be part of a dynamic team working within a large organisation that spends around £5 billion annually to build and improve the strategic road network (SRN).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the development of frameworks that assess social value, customer experience, and active travel.
- Collaborating with colleagues to evaluate the impact of road investments, programmes, and interventions.
As a Graduate Road Network Evaluation Specialist, you will have the flexibility to choose any National Highways office location as your base throughout the programme. You will also receive dedicated line management and mentoring from experienced colleagues, providing encouragement, direction, and career planning support.

We're seeking candidates who are currently studying in their second year of an undergraduate degree (in any subject) and expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:2. Assessment centres will take place in January and February.
