Senior Technical Lead

InSite Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead C&I Engineer to join our team in Pembroke Dock, West Wales. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the C&I team and ensuring the technical quality of deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Review and approve engineering documents, including calculations, specifications, and drawings, to ensure compliance with specification and functional integrity.
- Support the preparation and review of drawings, including general arrangements, cables routes, block diagrams, loops sheets, and hook-ups.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead on project technical decisions and attend internal and external project review meetings.
- Monitor changes in scope of work and raise change notifications with the Project Manager.
- Contribute to project plans, schedules, and cost estimates, and identify the scope of work required to undertake a project.
- Engineering degree or relevant industry experience.
- Significant, demonstrable experience in detailed design engineering.
- Experience of developing, reviewing, and approving instrument deliverables, such as general arrangements, cables routes, block diagrams, loops sheets, and hook-ups.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, specification, configuration, and commissioning (preferably Schenieder Triconex &/or Siemens S7).
- Knowledge of industrial communication systems.
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications.
