Key Responsibilities
  • Attract and Engage
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top emerging talent from universities, colleges, and schools.
    • Manage the setup and delivery of attraction, selection, and onboarding activities to meet recruitment targets for emerging talent programs.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and talent needs.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including universities, colleges, and industry associations.
  • Program Development and Support
    • Design and deliver learning programs for emerging talent, including apprenticeships, internships, and graduate programs.
    • Implement and manage emerging talent programs, including monitoring progress and reporting to senior stakeholders.
    • Provide pastoral support to emerging talent, ensuring their retention and development within the organization.
    • Work closely with other emerging talent staff to ensure processes and systems align with overall emerging talent strategies.
  • Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with key ambassadors and partners to ensure alignment with emerging talent recruitment and development strategies.
    • Ensure emerging talent activity is marketed effectively both internally and externally.
    • Collaborate with current trainees, apprentices, and associates to encourage them to be actively involved in the attraction and selection of emerging talent.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in emerging talent recruitment, program development, or support role.
  • Understanding of apprenticeships in the UK and apprenticeship levy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify learning and development training needs and develop appropriate programs to meet these needs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with colleagues at all levels, including board directors, senior managers, line managers, and entry-level colleagues.
  • Strong project management and time management skills, including the ability to successfully manage multiple work streams to achieve both quality and time-based objectives.
  • The ability and willingness to regularly travel throughout the UK to attend in-house and external events.
