This role is essential in ensuring that students are safely and comfortably transported to and from school. If you have experience working with children with disabilities and a flexible approach to work, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely assist children and young people with special educational needs during their transportation to and from school.
  • Ensure the well-being and comfort of all passengers throughout the journey.
  • Work closely with drivers to ensure smooth and safe transport, addressing any concerns that may arise.
  • Follow child safeguarding procedures to protect the safety and welfare of all passengers.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the transport schedule.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Knowledge of child safeguarding processes.
  • A caring, patient, and responsible attitude, with a commitment to the safety and well-being of children.
  • Flexibility to work split shifts, typically from 7:30 am to 9:30 am and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
