About the Role

This Senior Engineering Manager position involves working closely with project teams to deliver civil and structural related services. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering complex services and providing safe and buildable solutions.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000 - £75,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Design and checking of Permanent and Temporary Works in various materials, integrated with Permanent Works design where necessary.
  2. Development of alternative solutions and value engineering initiatives to enhance Kier's competitive position.
  3. Support at the tender stage and bid-winning process, focusing on buildability, efficiency, and innovation.
  4. Technical evaluation and assessment of 3rd party designs to ensure compliance with the brief and meet client and Kier requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • A chartered engineer or willingness to become chartered.
  • Experience in Permanent and Temporary Works Design or similar field.
  • A valid full UK driving licence is essential.
