**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Design Manager to lead our design team in Cambridge. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring junior team members, ensuring high-quality designs that meet client expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in permanent and temporary works design, and knowledge of industry-standard software. A chartered engineer or someone looking to become chartered is preferred. The salary for this role is estimated at around £70,000 per annum.

**Responsibilities and Requirements**

  1. Manage and mentor junior team members
  2. Develop and implement design strategies to meet client requirements
  3. Liaise with project teams to ensure smooth project delivery
