The successful candidate will work as a part-time Diabetic Retinal Eye Screener, responsible for completing clinics and examining Diabetic patients' eyes. The service deals with a high turnover of patients, and the post holder will work independently after a period of supervision and training.

The Retinal Eye Screener will be responsible for the smooth running of their clinics, working collaboratively with the Service Manager, Ophthalmologist, and Lead Clinician to ensure effective utilisation of equipment and supplies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a Health or social care background to develop their skills and experience.

The hours for this position are 21.2 hours per week, equivalent to 3 working days, with negotiable days. Consideration will also be given to job share opportunities.
