About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Retinal Screening Photographer. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality eye screening services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct eye screening examinations on diabetic patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Work independently, with management support, to complete clinics and maintain a high level of service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager, Ophthalmologist, and Lead Clinician to ensure effective utilisation of equipment and supplies.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of clinics, ensuring high-quality services are delivered to patients.

Requirements

  • Health or social care background, with relevant experience and qualifications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including part-time and potentially job share opportunities.
