Role Overview

This is a long-term position for an experienced EYFS/KS1 teacher to take on the role of SEN specialist. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for creating personalized education plans for students with special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have qualified teacher status or equivalent teaching qualifications and experience, as well as specialization in teaching students with SEND. A strong organizational skills to manage individualized education plans and student progress tracking are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to create and review individualized education plans.
  • Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of literacy and communication.
