Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor - Governance and Risk

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Internal Auditor with expertise in governance, risk management, and internal controls. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will lead audit engagements, develop risk assessments, and provide assurance on the effectiveness of our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead audit engagements, including risk assessments, audit work programs, and report drafting
  • Collaborate with the audit team and business contacts to discuss and resolve queries
  • Provide regular updates to the Internal Audit management team on audit progress
  • Maintain effective working relationships with audit clients
  • Follow up on previously reported issues to ensure corrective action has been taken
Requirements:
  • Relevant work experience in a Big Four accounting firm or financial services company
  • Applied knowledge and experience in risk-based audit methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
