Job Summary

Canada Life UK is seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Manager to strengthen its IT Audit presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting risk assessment and audit planning, managing audit engagements, and leading engagement with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the UK Chief Internal Auditor in risk assessment and audit planning
  • Lead delivery of audit engagements for allocated areas
  • Manage relationships with Executive Directors and attend senior management meetings
  • Support the preparation of Audit Committee and Executive Committee reports
  • Discharge functional staff responsibilities for the UK-based IA team
  • Liaise with Canada Life and LifeCo stakeholders, including IT stakeholders, project stakeholders, and external auditors
Requirements
  • Strong technology and project knowledge
  • Applied advanced knowledge and expertise in risk-based audit methodologies
  • Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for ensuring deadlines are met
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted business relationships
