Role Overview

We are seeking a Professional Services and Development Officer to join our Institution of Mechanical Engineers team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and sustaining membership opportunities with the armed forces and academia.

As a key member of our Membership Development Team, you will develop existing accounts with the armed forces, engaging with Armed Forces personnel and growing membership opportunities.

You will deliver presentations, one-to-one support and workshops, both virtually and face-to-face, to promote and facilitate membership recruitment.

Additionally, you will undertake telemarketing activities to support on-going membership acquisition and retention.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing their own workload and managing conflicting priorities.

They will also possess strong presentation skills, excellent planning, reporting and communication skills, IT literacy, and a full, valid driving licence.
