Electrical Shift Leader

£43,000 per annum plus £3,500 shift allowance

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and a proven track record of leading teams in a critical environment.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Electrical Services.
  2. Acting as Authorised Person HV/LV as required on a 24/7 rotating continental shift pattern.

The successful candidate will have:

  1. Conversant knowledge of a wide range of building service systems and equipment.
  2. Solid Electrical and Mechanical knowledge.
  3. City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
  4. 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers.
  5. Electrical Apprenticeship – gained within the building maintenance industry.
  6. Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
  7. Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.

We offer a permanent position, paying a salary of £46,500 per annum including shift allowance, working on a continental shift pattern, with 25 days annual leave and healthcare on offer.
