Accounting Responsibilities
  • Oversee accounting clerk work.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, adhering to UK GAAP.
  • Supervise billing, invoicing, banking, and payroll operations.
  • Lead external audit, tax reporting, and insurance activities.
Financial Planning and Reporting
  • Publish monthly financial statements for the CEO, acting CFO, and major investors.
  • Provide actual versus budget analysis, forecasts, and outlook for the Board of Directors.
  • Contribute to multi-year strategic financial planning and annual budget setting.
Policies, Systems, and Processes
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
