About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Tamworth. As a member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and productive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources
  • Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment through behaviour management strategies
  • Support students with intervention on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Monitor and track student progress and behaviour

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Prior experience working within an educational setting
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location and Working Hours

The role is based at a Primary School in Tamworth, with working hours from 8:30am - 3:30pm.
