Vehicle Repair Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team and play a vital role in keeping our fleet of commercial vehicles running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes of commercial vehicles, including engine servicing, brakes, clutches, and more.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic software, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Stores department to source and acquire the necessary parts for repairs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure all service records are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace and adhere to all safety procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic, with hands-on experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong background in working with diesel engines.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A valid full driving licence.
