About the Role

The Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Rehabilitation Service. This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a significant contribution to the lives of individuals with complex severe and enduring mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify individualized care plans, focusing on recovery-oriented interventions and evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and implement tailored occupational therapy programs, promoting independence, confidence, and well-being among service users.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective risk management strategies.
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications, along with post-qualification experience in working with adults with complex mental health needs.
  • Health and Care Professions Council registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in community settings, with a strong understanding of person-centered care principles and recovery-focused approaches.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of £41,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
