Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Rehabilitation Service at the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals, families, and carers to provide personalized support and interventions, promoting recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify service users' needs, goals, and risks, developing individualized care plans that focus on occupation-based interventions.
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services, emphasizing person-centered care, risk management, and positive risk-taking strategies.
  • Engage in collaborative practice with other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications, along with relevant post-qualification experience in working with adults with complex mental health needs.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in community settings, with a strong understanding of recovery-focused approaches and person-centered care principles.
Salary and Benefits
  • A salary range of £41,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
