We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team and support the development of the highway structures team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing annual maintenance programmes of work across the full spectrum of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair of highway structures, including bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programmes to ensure the safe and efficient operation of highway structures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential maintenance needs and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering at degree level.
  • Proven experience in managing maintenance programmes and coordinating with contractors and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
