Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Compliance Officer to join our team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the company's Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies are up to date and effectively implemented.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective Health and Safety practices
- Providing training and support to staff on Health and Safety best practices
- Maintaining accurate records of audit findings and recommendations
- Collaborating with senior management to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic plans
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least two years' experience in a similar Health and Safety or compliance role
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
