Community Support Specialist

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Feminist Justice Practitioner to join our team at Advance. In this vital role, you will provide individualized support and advocacy to women involved in the criminal justice system, helping them navigate complex systems and access resources and services they need.
As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative organization that prioritizes feminist principles and approaches in all aspects of our work. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of our programs and services, as well as collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders to advance our mission.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the intersections between gender, power, and justice, as well as experience working with marginalized communities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, are also essential for success in this role.
You will be based in the Thames Valley area, with potential travel to surrounding regions. The salary for this position is £23,500 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
