Marketing Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team at T(ART) Productions, a queer not-for-profit events company. As part of our funding from The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund, we aim to become more sustainable and improve our offer.
This is a new freelance role that requires the development and execution of a marketing strategy for our events. Key responsibilities include ensuring we have content for our website, social media, and e-newsletter, creating graphic design using Canva Premium, and maintaining an accessible communication approach.
The ideal candidate has experience in developing and delivering marketing strategies, working in communications roles, and creating social media campaigns on Instagram and Facebook. They should also be knowledgeable about issues surrounding the LGBTQ+ community, especially trans issues, and passionate about diversity, inclusion, and social justice.
As a freelancer, you will work with a pool of volunteers who support us in our work and can offer opportunities to assist with marketing and comms tasks. Your salary will be £135 per day (£18/hour), and you will work part-time, 1 day (7.5 hours) per week or 52 days across 1 year. This contract will last for 1 year, starting on 1st February 2025.
